Nick Lancaster
Nick Lancaster is an attorney at Fort, Holloway, & Rogers. Originally from Sturgis, South Dakota, Nick Graduated from Black Hills State University with a degree in Political Science. He completed an internship with the United States Senate before attending law school at the University of South Dakota School of Law.
While in law school, Nick concentrated on trial advocacy and family law. Nick was an associate editor of the South Dakota Law Review and a Trial Advocacy Team member where he was named the Thomas J. Horton Advocate of Excellence. Nick completed internships with the South Dakota Attorney General’s Office, Minnehaha County Public Defender’s Office, and a pro se divorce clinic.
Upon graduation and passing the Bar Exam, Nick moved to Tennessee where he worked for two years as a crisis advocate for victims of domestic violence. After interacting with well over 1000 clients, Nick recognized the desperate need that his clients have for effective and understanding attorneys who would see them through their arduous domestic violence, divorce, child custody, and various other court proceedings. Accordingly, in 2023, Nick joined the team at Fort, Holloway, & Rogers where he can further serve clients in their family law issues.
