Jonathan Miley
Jonathan joined Fort, Holloway & Rogers in 2024 after practicing civil and criminal defense law in Robertson County for thirteen years. Jonathan has built a diverse practice by representing individual and corporate clients in a variety of matters. Jonathan’s addition to the Franklin office of Fort, Holloway & Rogers has enhanced the Firm’s already robust offerings in areas of alimony, divorce, custody, adoption, and other family law matters. His presence has also heightened FHR’s client service offerings for business disputes, insurance defense, personal injury issues, criminal defense, will contests and estate planning.
Over the years, Jonathan has represented large regional insurance carriers, individuals injured in accidents, families in the process of divorcing and clients facing jail time. As a result, he takes a people-focused approach to his law practice. Jonathan said, “I recognize that no matter whether I am representing a single parent in a custody dispute or a corporate client in a contract matter, I am guiding them through a stressful time. I focus not only on achieving the best possible outcome for them, but also making sure they feel supported during the process. I recognize the legal process is stressful and unfamiliar to most. I try to fill that gap with practical and honest advice.”
Jonathan’s representative matters include division of assets in multi-million-dollar divorce cases, successfully defending clients against serious criminal charges, and resolving complex personal injury and insurance claims.
Jonathan was raised in Hendersonville, Tennessee before receiving his undergraduate degree in Industrial Science from Middle Tennessee State University in 2003. He obtained his law degree from Capital University in Columbus, Ohio in 2009. Jonathan has been licensed in Tennessee since 2010.
He is married to Casey, and they have two young sons. When out of the office Jonathan enjoys coaching his sons’ sports teams, golf and watching the Vols.
